Sunny Skies Mobile Home Park Community Garden Planting
Lung Power delivers asthma management education in a relaxed setting. We aim to engage, educate, and empower youth and their caregivers to increase asthma medication compliance, decrease asthma attacks, and reduce school absenteeism, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations. Those in attendance will learn how to recognize, prevent and manage an asthma attack, gain the ability to identify and remove asthma triggers, practice the proper use of an asthma inhaler with a spacer, and gain confidence to participate in sports, school activities, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Breathe Southern California's many programs and events are made possible by our generous supporters and corporate sponsors.
Breathe SoCal and Eco Urban Gardens hosted a planting workshop where 75 planted 50 Lavender bushes. The lavender knoll will be used by students harvesting tea and other projects, as well as attracting pollinators to the garden to improve fruit and vegetable production.
